Unproductive and fruitless are just a few adjectives to describe how my weekend was. The weather's to blame first, then nightly festivities come second. I'm actually still in denial it's Monday already and that hell week is officially on. 2 exams to study for, 4 plates to submit, blog entries to post and then guests to entertain from Wednesday to Saturday. How on earth am I to fit everything on my schedule? Time is what I need now. In fact, extra time (48 hrs maybe) would be the best birthday gift I could ever receive! 

 I really wish I could use my birthday as an excuse to take on a week long hiatus. Break from school and blogging is what I yearn for now. I miss getting to sleep 8-10 hrs a day and not worry about not accomplishing anything. You get me? Sad but grateful, I have been awoken from my dream and now my eyes are wide open--I need to do get up and start working on what's important! 

Lets start off with a blog post..I know you miss my outfit posts so guys here's a new one showing what I wore last Saturday. The dress is tight-fitting (as you can see) and believe it or not, I gave up nutella and peanut butter for a week just for this. It's made of  stretchable cotton and such fabric gives us no mercy, you know. Flabs cannot be hidden. Flaws cannot be concealed! Still, it's one of my favorite pieces and being like other girls, I saved it for an occasion worth dressing up for and last Saturday was. 

 I actually planned on bringing my SLR for documentation purposes (sounds legit lol) but bag was too small so I brought an IXUS w/me instead!Don't you just hate it when you have to carry bulky cameras with you all night long? I suggest don't! Risk of losing it is too high.

I just realized the pink camera went well with my outfit! Cute, eh? :)

Aqua Bodice: Motel Rocks

Some of you may already be familiar with the blog title. Perhaps you heard the song in some random station or website. Well actually Skeletons was the background music we used for Stash's video teaser. I named this look such--even if there isn't any sign of my clothing line--mainly because of the bodice w/back cut-outs that are identical to skeletons, in a good way that is! 

And backyard, well yeah, 'cause it was shot in the back of the house! Could it get more transparent than that? haha

I thought the neon aqua top complements the little bright details found in the aztec skirt. And I just went full-blast with the chunky necklace and bright yellow heels since the look was rather colorful and playful! :) 

I hope you like it! 

PS: I will never get tired of Aztec and native prints. Never.

Added spunk to the whole look by choosing an aztec printed bodice to be paired w/the sheer
fairy-like mullet from Soul's newest collection. Normally I would go for a brighter color, but I thought choosing saturated hues (my first choice was orange by the way) would
only add more--in a negative way--to my crayola collection, I mean obsession. 
So I went with the safest tone (one which I could easily pair w/anything) I found--beige.
I wanted to give emphasis to the bodice but it was heavily printed, so I thought going with the
off-white mullet was just the perfect choice! Plus it added a dreamy feel to the ensemble..which in my
world is an extra plus plus!
Sheer + messy hair + trees in the background = DREAMY

A big grin was plastered on my face as soon as I walked the doors of our house in Davao today. Not only was I greeted by my troublesome two-some nephews, but also by packages from Romwe and Motel Rocks!

 I have been waiting ages for them to arrive--even lost a handful of hope in the process. But despite the week delay, I am delighted for its arrival. It met my expectations. And just like what I always say.... I cannot wait to take outfit shots wearing these! 

Which do you like the most? Mine? The aqua bodice.
