One advantage of shopping in January is that all stores release their new collection and at the same time dispose their old stocks through a year-end sale. Would you believe that the most of the accessories I am using in this post are 30-50 slash the original price?! Yes. If youre patient enough to rummage through the pile of sale items in Parfois, then I'm sure you'd find these treasures shining and waiting for you to pick them out! :)

My favorites are the rings which were for 200-300+ and the stone necklace similar to what I often see on gypsy blogs! Thank goodness they had it! I've never been in a shop that sold this kind of necklace. 
The bag is similar to the one I used in this post only that this came with a foxtail! Cute eh? :)

I am crazy about anything orange and this outfit sure proves it! But instead of loyally sticking to it, I wore it w/different colors like the old rose colored top, pink accessories, red platforms & multi-colored printed scarf.
It you're hesitant about doing a monochromatic look, DON'T BE. As long as you mix the right tones/shades/tints with the perfect accessories, you sure are in good hands! :)

 Gypsy Green Accessories

Don't you just love these accessories? My current obsession for emerald green intensified when I received this silk maxi skirt from Sabrina and saw Parfois' new collection: Green Gypsy as I call it.

I couldn't choose which accessories to get so I thought why not just get everything and stack 'em up? 

So again, I excessorized. But I made sure the whole ensemble wouldn't look too busy so I wore a plain violet top w/the maxi to draw attention to the accessories and not the clothes. 

The bag is in mustard. Why? No specific reason. I just love the color and how rustic the leather is!

 Also, the bag is woman-friendly. (Dont I just love making up terms? haha) 

It's a keep-all which means anything would fit inside! Even my pair of JCs. Haha!

Seriously.

By the way, you must be wondering why ESMERALDA? Actually my friend Farrah gave the name and indeed, the ensemble does look like Esmeralda's, green x violet! haha

Its still the 6th day of 2012 and I've already made quite some changes in my life that has been nothing but conventional. 

To start off, I got off my comfort zone and Ombre'd my hair (brown+orange). I did extensive research and read numerous blogs on how to DIY and surprisingly I had the courage to touch my hair! Still thinking of bleaching it again to make the ends blonder. 

Second, I'm facing (should i say overcoming?) my fear of public speaking through the first ever Bloggers' Soiree where I speak infront of bloggers and inspire them to go deeper into the blogging world.

Third and the last, I gave way to the other side of my style and channelled the rockstar in me in this outfit

with the help of PARFOIS' glamrock collection. 

Don't you just love the combination of black and silver? They also have it in black+gold!

I have always been a die-hard Accessories Girl and Parfois is one store I've been buying accessories & bags from. It's a Euro brand yet their prices are surprisingly affordable. You should see it yourselves!

I am shoving the bad habits off and attracting positive ones this year! It's the first on my New Year's resolution list.
