MISSING

Tuesday, February 24, 2015
Hello everyone! Here I am updating my blog with photos I took of Rome to summarise our 6-day vacation. It has been a long while since my last post and there's just too much to say but I want to leave the photos and captions to tell the story on my behalf. I won't go into details but if there's one thing I could say about this Roman escape, it was and will always be one of the memories that I will forever keep dearly. It is a beautiful city. Romantic and beyond enchanting.

Via Condotti, Rome's famous shopping street.

The Rome-mantic streets of Rome.

Since I am here already with with hands on keyboard and heart on high with encouragement to update you guys, let me take this chance to share a tad bit of what life has been the last months. To start with, it honestly was [still is] stressful. I hardly have time for things other than school. It's difficult to explain but let me try. I go to an Interior Design school and I am on my last year in advanced class. Unlike other Universities who have two semesters in a year, we have four. Which means exams every 2/3 weeks and no breaks at all except Christmas. I wasn't on full load the last 2 years until July 2014 and the day I arrived from Europe, life has been nothing but about school. If you were wondering what our normal week looks like, think of five 3-hour classes, at least 1 defense and 3-5 design plates. My weekends are spent doing homework and there are times when I have only 4 [sometimes none] hours of sleep. Tiring. Exhausting. Draining. Just everything connected to stressful but it's my dream course/job and sometimes in life we have to set goals and choose priorities. BUT I am on my 3rd term and by July 2015 I am [hopefully] done with academics. Yay! :)

I do miss a lot about blogging to be honest. And thing I long for the most is sharing photographs with you guys. Random snapshots of anything I found interesting. Of course I miss the "OOTD's" but it's a different kind of contentment I gain from posting pictures and not having to explain why. Photographs sometimes just have to speak for themselves, don't they? Nowadays, I only post on Instagram 'cos it's the quickest and most convenient way to update about certain happenings in my life.
Today, I am in a coffee shop currently away from the Metro recharging my batteries and the other day while I was thousands of feet in the air, I ran across some old photos from my blog. And since I have no school for 4 days, I thought it would be great to allot time editing and uploading these photos to leave you something to look on and read on. :)

There's not a day I don't think about my blog--the endless updates, tweets and uploads! But lets just say I'm on a very long hiatus now. A break which was difficult to take but is necessary. Soon, when time is right, I shall be back. I missed you guys, I just wanted to let you all know
Have a great night ahead!

xx,
TWR
