It may be a tad bit too late for New Year's resolutions but when it comes to fashion, changes were hardly a bad thing. As they say, it is through taking risks that you get to experiment and learn, but for those conservative ones like me, upgrading our wardrobe and style once in a while can already be counted as something major.
Since we're still on the first month of 2013, I had this idea of making a Fashion Resolution List! I just thought maybe it's time for me to wear more sophisticated or matured clothes and perhaps veer away from too much prints, though I think this is quite impossible. haha Well there's no harm in trying, is there?
Anyway, so here's some I listed down. Let me know what you think! :)
1. wear more neutrals & soft tones (beige, old rose, brown, gray etc)
2. buy more tote bags (those that come with straps) and use it as an everyday bag
since slings usually strain my shoulder :(
3. invest more on mid-heels (like these Charles & Keith sandals I am wearing)
4. stick to solids and less on heavy prints
5. wear accessories with more golds than silver
How about you? What's your Fashion Resolution? Charles & Keith & I would love to know! The one with the best answer wins a 3,000 GC!

Well today dint really start off well. I'm usually late in everything, especially in class but today I got off bed an hour before 9. Did the usual routine--ate, bathed, listened to Indie--and when I was about to leave, I got a text saying class is cancelled. Great. But the weather's pretty lovely, so I din't really mind! haha
I'm currently in the neighbourhood sipping a glass of cold cappuccino. The skies are gray and the clouds seem dense. I guess it's gon' be one cold Friday. Perfect! :)

I was surfing JUX's gallery and was inspired by all the photos I laid eyes on, especially those with snow and cobble-stoned alleys.
It made me wish I had the time and means to travel the world, observe everything foreign and take snapshots of anything I find beautiful and strange.
But since I am stuck in this place, the least I could do is make-do with whatever's around and try to capture wonderful moments with my camera.

1ST DAY OF CLASS

My stupid smile :))
2-week break is over and I am now sitting in class waiting for our professor to come. I don't quite understand how this is possible but I am pretty excited about this term. Taking 4 subjects--2 lectures 2 drafting. It's just that during the break all I've been doing was eat and sleep and now I'm glad I get to be productive again. I've to say this feeling is temporary cause in a month or two, I will start whining again about how stressed I am with all the drawings and stuff. Haha
Anyway, this is what I am wearing today. I was not able to take photos with my DSLR but I will when i get home, so probably I will be blogging about this again tomorrow or the day after.
I hope everyone's having a great Tuesday! :)

Feeling a bit dainty and edgy today so I came up with a look that falls somewhere in between both.
The fuchsia denim was something I was hesitant at first since I am not big with colored jeans, but black and pink have always looked good together so I thought, "Hey! Why not give it a try?"
So I did. And i think it looks pretty awesome!

We travel to search and we come back home to find ourselves there.

Aidx and I played with leaves, flowers and vines one summer afternoon in Davao.
He got his fisheye camera and took a snapshot of me under the picture-perfect 5 o'clock sun.
I din't quite know what to expect, having not to see the photo right after it was taken.

The shopping spree was held yesterday and unfortunately I couldn't go since I was still in Davao.
But now I am back in Manila and to my readers, I'd just like to let you know that we will be spending time this Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013! :)

2013 marks the beginning of another year. A year which we all hoped to be prosperous, successful and better than the previous. But what is it with New Year that really excites us all? It's just another cycle composed of 52 weeks, 365 days and 8765 hours, approximately. Well to be honest, I think it's the thought of starting anew that thrills us and not the year itself. I would lie to you if I said making New Year's resolutions and Dream Books was ridiculous! In fact, I'm such a sucker for those things and I am proud to say, I already completed my list even before 2013 came! haha
One of the things I never really fancied were metallics. Well I always thought it was beautiful! But not on me... But since it's New Year and I've to let go of the past and move on to new things, I decided to try these golden leggings for a change.
