AIR ASIA ZEST

Tuesday, November 12, 2013

I don't know if you have heard, but Zest air is now rebranded as AirAsia Zest. The marriage of the two airlines provides us Filipinos with more flight choices as they now fly from Manila besides Clark, Pampanga. NAIA 3 & 4 are the new hubs, serving flights both domestic and international--providing more accessibility to passengers based in Manila. They also just recently extended operations in Cebu, offering more destinations to all Cebuanos as well.

Last Thursday Nov. 7, the airline hosted a bloggers' dinner for the launch of 4 things:
1. AirAsia Zest rebranding
2. New routes from Cebu hub
NEW INT'L DESTINATIONS FROM MANILA:
3. Macau
4. Miri, Malaysia

It was an intimate gathering in New Orleans/Claw Daddy's High Street where Jonathan Yabut, Apprentice Asia's winner, talked us through all the exciting things the AirAsia Zest is now offering. Good food, good company and social media contests kept us busy the whole night. Some lucky bloggers won international and domestic flights! But everyone didn't go home empty-handed cause believe it or not, they're all taking us to Macau this December to experience the new flight ourselves! Pretty good, eh?

AirAsia zest offers cheap flights both domestic & int'l and their promo fares are just unbelievable! Imagine I got tickets from Manila --> Puerto Princesa --> Cebu for a total of 1,500 php? What's great is that their prices are ALL-IN and there are a couple of ways to pay such as 7-Eleven, Bayad Center, Online Banking, Credit & Debit cards. Very convenient indeed!

New Int'l destinations from Manila will start flying on:
-Dec 6, 2013 for Macau ( flying every Wed, Fri & Sun)
-Dec 7, 2013 for Miri, Malaysia ( flying every Mon, Tue, Thurs & Sat)

Below are the routes from MNL & CEB:

TAYLOR-ED

Gray Tee: GbyGUESS
Moto Jacket & Distressed Leggings: ROMWE
Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
Booties: Terranova
Clear Envelope Clutch: Panoplia
Necklace: SM Accessories

Rocking the streets with this rockchic look inspired by none other than Taylor Momsem, the ultimate grunge Hollywood celebrity I follow besides Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus.
I know distressed leggings are very last season but I never really got the chance to be in one--that time I thought it was a bit racy but obviously now I realized I was completely wrong. And since my style these days usually lean on casual grunge, I thought the leggings would spice up my usual tights-leather jacket-boots ensemble.
What do you think? :)

3-DAY DETOX SET

Sunday, November 10, 2013

Felt like I abused my body for the past weeks by eating so much junk, hardly working out and not getting enough sleep so I thought of getting back on track by living a balanced life again.
Thanks to this 3-day detox set  (made from organic fruits & vegg) from Fitness Potions, I can jumpstart my diet by doing a juice cleanse. For 3 days I am only limited to drinking liquids (6 juices, 2 liters of water & tea) and no solids at all. I've done something similar to this before (14-day lemon detox) but only lasted for 5 days cos it was too intense!! So for those who want something easy and not too torturous, I recommend you do juice cleanse. You can choose from 3, 5 or 7-day detox! :)

You can find Fitness Potions on Instagram & twitter  (@fitnesspotions) or text them 09998894482.
And for my fellow Davaoenos, they also deliver in Davao! Just look them up on Instagram @fitnesspotionsdavao.

ANOTHER REAASON TO LOVE SLURPEE

Tuesday, November 5, 2013
May it be in America, Canada or Asia, Slurpee is one famous drink everybody just can't get enough of! This mind-cooling beverage (which was "accidentally" made by a genius who was forced to store sodas in the freezer to keep it cool after his soda fountain broke down) is now a worldwide frozen drink concoction. Kids love them, teens too and even young adults who always get a taste of their childhood with every sip of Slurpee!
I won't deny. I still am crazy about this brain-freezing treat. Everytime I step inside 7-Eleven, I still get that excitement of having to make my own creation from mixing different flavors. I don't know why but the freedom of do-it-yourself makes it a lot more thrilling. Like you can go all the way by filling your cup til you start seeing spills! haha

May it be the brain freeze, the psychedelic colors, the refreshing flavors, Slurpee surely is a every sugar-junkie's favorite. But there's another reason to love Slurpee even more!
YOU CAN HAVE YOUR GIGANTIC SHARE OF SLURPEE FOR ONLY 29 Php ON #BYOCupDay THIS NOV 7!

Yes you got that right! 7-Eleven is holding a Bring Your Own Cup Day in the Philippines for the first time which gives us the chance by filling anything (and I mean ANYTHING as long as swak siya sa maCUPangyarihang bilog) with all the Slurpee you want! You can use a fish bowl, water jug, wellington boots, vase etc. Be creative. Sky is the limit to your imagination!

For more information about the campaign, please like 7-Eleven on Facebook  and follow their instagram (@711ph). Make sure to use the hashtag 3BYOCupDay!

COHESIVE

Aztec Skirt & Top: ROMWE
Bag: GbyGuess
Necklace: SM Accessories
Shoes: Parisian

I wanted to do something different with the tribal skirt than pairing it with casual tee and boots so I came up with a dressy ensemble that is clean and simple. I didn't do much but focus on 3 colors (white, gold & black) To maintain cohesiveness and the skirt itself is already an eye-catcher so over-accessorizing really wasn't an option. The entire look was intended to be easy on the eyes--something fresh and breezy but still maintaining that formal touch--and I thought the choice of loose button down with the tight fitting skirt & heels was perfect :)
Hope you like it!

By the way, I'm thinking of using the boho skirt for Close-Up Forever Summer this Saturday. Maybe pairing it with a DIY Cropped tee and boots! What do you think? :)
Only 4 days left til the event. Don't forget to avail of their Buy 1 take 1 promo.
Hope to see you guys!
