TAYLOR-ED

Monday, November 11, 2013
Gray Tee: GbyGUESS
Moto Jacket & Distressed Leggings: ROMWE
Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
Booties: Terranova
Clear Envelope Clutch: Panoplia
Necklace: SM Accessories

Rocking the streets with this rockchic look inspired by none other than Taylor Momsem, the ultimate grunge Hollywood celebrity I follow besides Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus.
I know distressed leggings are very last season but I never really got the chance to be in one--that time I thought it was a bit racy but obviously now I realized I was completely wrong. And since my style these days usually lean on casual grunge, I thought the leggings would spice up my usual tights-leather jacket-boots ensemble.
What do you think? :)

GRUNGE DAY

Sunday, September 29, 2013
Pants & Studded Boots: Terranova
Denim Button-down: Levi's
Sling Bag: SM Accessories

After the long wait, the sun is finally out! But unlike the scorching hot temperature this country usually experiences, today's weather was just right--somewhere in between sunny and gloomy. Which is the perfect chance to be in a pants-boots ensemble like what I'm sporting in this post!
I was opting for a 'grunge look'. Something that speaks both Taylor Momsen and Miley Cyrus. (The old Miley. Before the white tank & undies mania happened! haha But I still love her though...) So yeah, I paired the Team Manila tee with denim, leather & some studs. Hope you like it! :)
 Happy Sunday everyone!

FRESH

Monday, September 23, 2013
Graphic Tee: Team Manila
Skirt: Terranova
Sling Bag: SM Accessories
Leopard Sneakers: H&M

A bright skater-inspired look to match the clear skies last Saturday in Clark Pampanga.
Looking how fresh the photos are makes me miss the sun so much. It's sad that in Manila rain has been pouring for the past days. I just wish the sun will come gleaming behind the white fluffy clouds soon enough for me to take lively photos like these again.
Anyway here's another laid-back ensemble wearing one of my favorite tees from Team Manila! It's very casual that anybody can definitely pull it off. No doubt about that! :)

Hope everyone's safe! Happy Monday guys!
By the way, SM Accessories and I are giving away 2 tickets to THE KILLERS concert happening this Thursday!

KEEPING IT REAL

Friday, September 13, 2013
I normally don't post face shots mainly because I hardly wear make-up in most of my posts since it looks unflattering for close-ups, but this will be an exception. I found the rawness & realness of the photo really alluring. It shows how haggard and tired I am but I strongly think sometimes transparent shots like this is more beautiful than those that are polished and edited.
Boyfriend tee: Team Manila
Moto jacket & pants: Terranova
OBEY cap: Trilogy
Heels: Charles & Keith

Alright.. There's so much to say but so little time so let me cut to the chase and tell you straight away how head over heels I am with this look! Aside from the fact that it speaks so much about the kind of style I praise--street wear and casual--it also reminds me of the good old days when my blog was still new and the outfits posted were  either laid-back or... hmm... okay it used to be laid-back all the way and nothing more.  lol

I'm not quite so sure if you've ever seen me in this type of ensemble (esp. with the cap), but just in case you haven't, let me take this opportunity to share to you how much I wore boyfriend tees and jeans back in college. See guys, in my old University shorts, micro skirts, skimpy dresses, sleeveless (anyything that has something to do with the phrase "showing too much skin") were strongly unacceptable. So even when the sun was scorching hot, we had no choice but to be covered. Basically in an outfit that's very similar to today's look. Only that this time sneakers were replaced by mid-heels and leather jacket wasn't an option at all! haha

Okay I think I talked too much already. Anyway, I hope you like the look as much as I do.
Have a great weekend guys! :)

STATEMENT

Sunday, September 25, 2011

Statement Tee: Brashy Couture
Shoes: Chick Flick
Accessories: Mia Casa
Photos by Rap Meting

Its Sunday and photos and scheduled blog posts are waiting to be started and finished. So this is going to be one real quick post. I apologize. Please bear with me.
This tee is from Brashy Couture, a swedish online clothing store that centralizes on statement tees and bags. I ought to wear it with distressed tights but I had to visit my old school and wearing anything see-thru for them equates to throwing erasers or papers to your old tedious professor. Intense huh? Yeah Jesuit schools have the most stringent dress codes. Break anything just not that. Anyway, where were we? Oh. Tights. Yes. So I wore the statement tee with this dull opaque tights and paired it with shoes & accessories I got online at Multiply.com to keep me from looking like a die-hard Greenday fan--one who excessively wears black-white.
All I needed was an eyeliner or two, to pull off the dark enigmatic aura. Anybody pls hand 'em to me while its not too late? haha
Anyway, got to work on the next blog post! Hafta go. Now rushing! Have a great evening lovelies! :)
