A PEEK OF TODAY

What I wore before the shoot.
My favorite look!
Kelly is so tall we all looked like midgets beside her! lol

Spent the afternoon shooting for Charles & Keith with fellow ambassadors Kryz, Vern, Verniece and model, Kelly Misa. Unlike other photoshoots, this was fun and very light. Photographer was easy to work with, the team was very nice, make-up was great and outfits were really cool! Thanks to the stylists, each look suited us well-from head to toe! :)

(Blogged using my phone. Cool huh?lol)

FLOOD-PROOF

Pants: Soul
Shoes: So! Fab
Top: Zara
Neon Bracelet: Splendipity
Denim Vest: Forever21

Rain was pouring hard this morning which made it impossible to wake up early for today's class.
With only 15 minutes til 9 o'clock, I hurried and grabbed whatever I found "weather-appropriate" in my closet. I knew the streets would be flooded so I wore pants and boots  with hopes of protecting my feet and legs from getting wet. Then, I rushed to school (good thing I live 2 minutes away) and made it on time, only to find out an hour after that classes were suspended. Great! lol

I hope everybody's safe!  :)

RAIN OR SHINE

Top: Stylista
Blazer: Soul
Shorts: Forever21
Bracelet: Edge Co
Recessionista find: Thrifted belt for 80!

I wore too much shorts and blazers on my last days in Davao.
Weather there became similar to Manila's and predicting when the sun will shine or the rain will pour was nothing but a pointless search. There were times when walking in the streets at 3pm was a complete torture and times when 12pm looked nothing like noon at all.
Knowing what to wear turned harder than I thought. So most times, I stuck to what's safe. And by safe I mean outfits that could either work on sunny or rainy days.
Something like what I am wearing in this post! :)

BACK TO SCHOOL

Monday, October 1, 2012

Jeggings: Mapleberry
Top: Forever21
Jacket: H&M
Sneaks: Keds
Bracelet (lime & violet): Edge Co

Arrived in Manila today and headed straight to school.
It's my first class for the 2nd semester and I couldn't be more excited about starting it right! Another 2 months worth of sleepless nights spent on sketching, drafting and painting, especially now that the subjects I got demand more time. Oh well, guess I will be pulling more all-nighter's this time! lol

Talking bout starting things right, I was inspired to come up with a "First Day of School" look. Something that's very different from what I usually wear.
Borrowed my brother's varsity jacket and wore a pair of Keds with it. And rather than going for the regular jeans, I went for these red jeggings to complement the blue in the jacket.
But of course, a college look wouldn't be complete without a gigantic bag and this oversized Kate Moss  tote is just perfect!
I hope you like my outfit today :)
