THE DREAM CHEYSER

THE DREAM CHEYSER

INSPIRED BY THE NATIVE FASHION OF SOUTH AMERICANS.
Named the look after my TUMBLR BLOG (thedreamcheyser.tumblr.com)

I am inlove with everything about this look even if its different from my previous posts (vintage and rocker). Coming from Davao City, native accessories are everywhere. Its cheap, artsy and distinct which makes me looooove it so much! Living in such small town influenced my sense of style. I admire intricate patterned pieces, colorful beaded accessories and wooden creations (i have a looooot). When im not out shooting or out at night, i try to be as laid back as possible. Grab my denim shorts, a cute tee and my overused flipflops (im sure you have one too! lol). And of course  use my fave bags from Accessorize--i swear they have the nicest stuff!!--and lots and lots of accessories. :)

Photos taken by RAP METING and make up up done by CARMEN SMITH (I have to say, I was very pleased with how the photos turned out. I couldnt believe this was me! Kudos to the team!)

More photos will be uploaded soon. these are just teasers :)
I made the necklace. Do you ike it? :)

THE DREAM CATCHER NECKLACE
I MADE MYSELF.

I've been making accessories as young as 12 years old. Here's one that i made just recently for a shoot inspired by native South American fashion.

My admiration for dream catchers started when i saw a classmate of mine--way back 3rd grade--bringing with her a small dream catcher chain hanging from her Jansport bag. Interested with the rope intricately woven into a web, colorful beads and feather, I then asked her what it was called. She said it was a dream catcher. Something that traps nightmares and replaces it with good dreams.
It got me interested. I never stopped loving it since then.

I got a white dream catcher to complement my favorite stone, turquoise.   I will post a look on Lookbook in a little while wearing this piece! :)

XOXO,

F21 and then some

Tuesday, February 1, 2011
Here are some stuff i got from f21! :) Feel like sharing it to you guys even if this was taken months ago. With the acessories, some are from f21 and my fave is the black bow ring (still havent used it! lol) and for the apparel, my fave buy is the printed tights which is for $10 i think.

Can't wait to go  to Manila. Browsing f21 online makes me dizzy. I need to go to the store and get my hands on their collection!

Everything is very cheap!
Especially when its bought outside the Philippines! :)
