AMERICAN EAGLE HITS MANILA

Cali style finally hits Manila as the famous US brand, American Eagle Outfitters,
 opens its first store in High Street today (March 1, 2013) and I was one of the lucky ones to experience it first hand yesterday before it opened its doors to the public!

Stepping foot inside two-storey shop (women's 1st floor and men's 2nd floor) was literally like going in a candy shop! Only that time those sweet treats were bright-colored jeans, neon hoodies, pastel tanktops etc. The spring/summer collection was fun & vibrant. Very bohemian and beachy! And I must say, I loved everything. I was like a kid walking in wonderland, wanting to grab each item I laid my eyes on. Really.

What's great is that the store's organized. Styles were separated, like they had a spot for beach bums & surfers, for bohemians, for sporty ones and those girl-next-door types. So shopping isn't really that confusing, unlike those shops where you feel like you're stuck in some kind of a salad feast.

The most awaited day of the week has finally come and though it's something to be happy of, I feel a tad bit heartbroken thinking how fast February is ending. Only 10 months left for 2013! Time flew so fast that I hardly realized March is coming in a few days! Oh well at least we get to look forward to summer, right? haha

I intended on waking up sometime around lunch today but the sun was shining oh so bright which made it hard to stay snuggled up in bed. The rays were strangely intense it penetrated through the 2-layered curtains, which I tell you seldom happens. 

With no other choice in hand, I got up and started my Sunday. Of course no better way to do so than to begin with an outfit post showing how to 'oomphify' (like my choice of words? haha) a casual sweatpants-tanktop ensemble by pairing it with statement heels!

Wearing something fuss-free on a day of errands and pullouts.
Been walking around since noon time and couldn't be happier I went with boyfriend tee and boots, I need not worry a thing about bending, running and splitting! Lol Kidding bout the last one.
